  • ALTERNATIVE SPRING BREAK


    Each Longwood University Spring Break the Interfraternity Council provides fraternity men an alternative to the usual beach retreat.  Each Spring Longwood fraternity men go to New Orleans, Louisiana for a week of service.  Rebuilding Together New Orleans volunteer work under the supervision of skilled RTNO construction staff rebuilding the homes of low-income elderly and people with disabilities. Since 2005, over 12,000 volunteers nationally have provided over 250,000 volunteer hours to help rebuild 220 homes. In RTNO's 21 year history, volunteers have helped rebuild over 1,200 homes and have provided more than $40 million in total construction investment for the city of New Orleans.
